Anyone here, @wok maybe? have heard the Dutch duo Shylmagoghnar?

Heard one of their songs the other day from their 2nd album and quite liked it. A lot of different genres rolled into one, including death metal...don't shoot the messenger, Metal Archives calls them progressiv melodic death metal:

Great riffsand great vocals, but it's a bit incohesive. Sounds like they used to be a brutal death metal band, and suddenly discovered Portal and now try to put dissonance everywhere. Still, a good slab of brutality

Yeah, they definitely like to cram in the dissonance - I really like their previous full length, because it's almost sorta spaghetti western-ish at points and the dissonant stuff works better for me
