I really dug that! reminds me a bit of Spectral Voice, which I think may have been posted in here already... I saw them live a couple months ago and they were super awesome

Spectral Voice are awesome!

Btw Grave Upheaval shares some members with Portal, which isn’t surprising really. GU sounds like the more ritualistic doomy Portal parts.

yarrrrr, I can't stop listening to it! There's something about the combo of a sort of black metal-ish vibe that reminds me of wolves in the throne room, plus something about the overall production or sound or something (I'm not very articulate here) that's very raw, but not in a lo-fi old norwegian tr00 kvlt black metal way, it just sounds big and almost unhinged, but still focused. plus some nice dissonance and it all adds up to greater than the sum of its parts for me, realllly really good. I've had too much coffee today.
