i'm kinda digging the new ESPN announcers. Hershiser doesn't sound as stiff as he did last year. i've always liked Valentine because he's kinda nuts. and Dan Shulman is ok. they're just having a conversation. it's only the first game of the season but this is way better than Joe Morgan and Steve Phillips. (always liked Jon Miller.)

they're you're home announcers. of course you prefer them. nobody likes watching games on Fox, but that's because those guys really suck. at least ESPN is trying to turn the page.

...I dont think they would. They make their money basically as a cable channel, with exclusive rights to rebroadcast MLB games...they also broadcast market teams nationally, at minimal cost...unless they started doing games entirely on their own (kinda like what TBS does), its just gunna stay the same...I kinda like it that way anyway...
