"die hard" to me has come to mean something completely different in the past few years. now it means people who not only follow the MLB club, but also pay attention to the minor leagues and draft. they're looking at the bigger picture. that leaves most "die hards" as mere blowhards.
This is great. We could have a Brewers/Tigers world series.![]()
Well - he watches or listens to probably 75% of the games all season long. He has not been here long enough for me to know if he follows them to that level, but it would not surprise me at all.
The TV people would be in sackcloth and ashes.......
The Cards don't really scare me as a Phils fan. They're hot right now, but as long as you pitch around Pujols and Berkman and work deep counts to try to knock the starters out early, Phils have a good chance (even after losing 3 of 4 to them last week). Their bullpen is terrible and they have a bunch of guys with little to no playoff experience. Doesn't hurt that we have homefield advantage and some of our guys have good numbers in St. Louis. Should be a good series, baseball has been crazy this year.
NLCS: Busch vs. The Beast

Man, this last couple of weeks as been amazing.
How about that Raphael Furcal? Where did that come from? The dude still has some skills.
Hey! WTF????????????????
Why did they just award that dickhead 1st base?
Isn't the rule generally "The batter needs to make an attempt to avoid being hit by the pitch"?
That asshole made no such move![]()
Wow!
Even more dramatics.
That was a no-doubter when it left the bat.
Not looking good for Detroit.
