i don't think anybody is going to deny your assessment. i just think that having Pitch FX is cool because it can clearly show Pelfrey why he's sucking. it's then his job to change that approach or, and this is a possibility, get sent down.

in 2 starts he has 6 ineffective innings. it's not time to panic yet, but it's definitely time to get to work. if Alderson finds that Mike has an option on his contract, i wouldn't be surprised to see it happen in Steve Traschel like fashion. #1 ain't nuthin but a number.

I remember a certain Mets fan LAUGHING about the contract that Tulo got...I guess Tulo heard him too. 4 HR, 8 RBI in the series...

it's fine now. my problem with the contract is 6 years from now when he's on the downside of his career. i never said he wasn't a good player. i said it's a ridiculous contract. which it is.
