The way it reads when you describe it, I lean toward staying put. But I don't know the details and am just going on what I pick up from what you are writing.
 
Speaking of work, I'm going to be checking this out... That's what I call a service truck... 15 foot utility bed, and still, the truck is barely longer than full size pickup with a double cab...

I like those. Probably super useful to someone in your line. When I was in college I worked for a company that installed aftermarket air conditioning in all kinds of vehicles and I drove quite a few of those Isuzus.
 
Yea, the guy is in Long Beach, and recently sold his heating and air business... 120K miles, $5800... That's a pretty damn good deal, and those diesels will go for a while... I'll be checking it out after Christmas...

been working on downloads for my site, in preparation for doing the same to MUNG's site, and making all the old out-of-print cd's available that way.
the $$ form the MUNG ones would go towards new merch.
buttons, shirts, etc.
wish I'd thought to do this a ways back, as I could have had some shit ready for the NYE gig.
oh well.

then again, I could just spend it all on Star Wars toys. :grin:

y'all think $8 is a fair price for a 12-song (38min) download?

Not sure, I haven't used either. Are you looking for a spring tankj sound or just a general reverb? I have a Boss Fender Tank pedal that works great for the tank sound but if I needed something else I'd probably look at the new TC Electronics or the Hermedia.
 
Not too picky about reverb as long as it sounds good. I only use a touch. Not a fan of digital effects in general. I think I'll pass since I can't try it first.

Read some reviews. Generally positive but consistent complaints of being noisy.
Do not want noisy.

I'll stick with my corned beef dano for now. It's quiet and does slapback as well as reverb.

Hard to imagine that 75 miles north of me the roads are closed for a blizzard. :embarrassed:

Going to head out to el reno here in a bit and try out some stuff. See if anything really grabs me.

What does anyone know about the import Hamer doublecuts? He has a nice one with P90s and one with humbuckers.

I really like the looks of that Hamer. I've heard mixed reviews, but mostly very good. Like any import, or anything made anywhere on a large scale, there's going to be some inconsistency. Since it's at a shop, my guess is that it's well set up, etc. You could have Ken make you some Minis or something if you got tired of the P-90's.
