Sounded great, but suffered from two fatal flaws. Doublecut rubberneck and poor balance.
Marginal fretwork. Plus, giant jumbo frets that I don't like.

I'll just save up and buy a tele next year. I have all the top shelf parts I got for the walnut jobbie. I may order a neck and cut myself a new walnut body. We'll see.

Sleeping on it helps clear the GAS fog.

Plus, I restrung the Gibson with some decent strings last night and played it for a good while. That's just a fun damn guitar. I think the P90 will give it more personality.
Ken's doing a vintage type wind for me. A2 magnets and standard wind. Those A5 high wind models get too honky for me.
