I can't imagine it would be possible for any forum to be more fucked than HC2.0

Okay, I've found one feature that I really like.

Dig my new sig:

Unless they go back to the original format or one that's equally as good, I'm out of there.

I dunno.

I'm a pretty heavy poster on Open Jam as well, I'll probably hang around for a while, see if I can bear the changes. They may make some improvements, you never know

It certainly does fucking suck though. If it weren't for the fact that only a tiny proportion of active users will come over here, I'd be done with it.

minus the Open Jam part pretty much the same for me...although 7 years of daily GJ will be a hard withdrawl but as long as the majority of the posters are here it won't really make much difference.

I hate the new look. It feels completely random to me. I cant get used to the new format. Only reason I went there after the big blow-up or whatever you wanna call it was for the laughs and to do some mild trolling, not actual posting. This place has been my "home" since I joined up.

Has anyone checked out the Jive site?

Lots of Enterprise.

The company that designed this place isn't much better. The original company was Jelsoft, which was bought by "Internet Brands" which used to be a company that sold cars online:

Who we are:
Internet Brands is an Idealab company (those in the Internet Industry will know who that is, if you don't, it might be worthwhile googling it) and the company has been around since 1998 (although it was originally called carsdirect.com), survived the Internet Boom/Bust and subsequent bankruptcy. Started purchasing their first forums (www.greenhybrid.com if you are interested) almost 4 years ago now, and as the adage goes, the rest is history!
Since then Internet Brands has purchased in excess of 200 of the largest forums in 7 different areas, and are the largest owner and operator of community forums in the world. The company has ~550 employee's (and is expanding that number!), and as some of you know also purchased Jelsoft/vBulletin, and maintain a number other Internet and non-Internet based business lines.

Their handling of the 4.0 upgrade is nearly on par with Jives efforts on HC.

hey abrasion.

i virtually never post on forums anymore. too busy. no redeeming qualities to it. i have a recently diagnosed mental disorder that puts the last 6 or so years of my life in perspective and having begun treatment my life is better without forums.

Then perhaps you should be enjoying Live Ruckus.
