At this point I really don't want to go anywhere without having my double shot tbh. Both the hassle and the safety of me and my family/friends make it simply not worth it.

A few weeks ago I read that you'd only become 30% ill from the Delta variant with the Pfizer shot, but I'm not quite sure exactly what that would mean, and compared to what. I'm guessing it would be like a really bad flu.

My dad and uncle both got it recently. My dad was fine no I'll effects. My uncle is fucked with it in hospital and the docs reckon he'd have been in serious trouble if he hadn't had both his shots.

Yeah, I'm at that point now myself really. Unless I get my second shot earlier than planned I can't see myself making that trip the way things are now.
And obviously with the restrictions in place at the moment it's a non starter either way.

Gigging in Inverness last night. 4 and a half hours to get there due to roadworks.

Groom and his family were all Rangers fans, brides side we're all Jambos, they had a very good evening :embarrassed:

Rotten sleep in my digs so I caned it home early doors. Got some ribs smoking out the back, Mrs JBJ is away out so I get a nice nap. I may even saunter out for a refreshing lager beer after my nap.
 
Back to work tomorrow :ack: Summer holiday has flown in. I got pretty much everything I wanted to do around the house done (at least I will be the end of play today if the rain holds off.

We get to work from home tomorrow and Friday if we so chose to do so :thu:
