Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Went black friday shopping this morning. Pretty interesting. It's not as chaotic as I expected, it was actually quite calm, but that's probably because most people were at work. I went to get some headphones, my old ones died last friday and since I already resoldered several wires, had them open for multiple times and really couldn't be arsed to troubleshoot them again, I figured why not get some new ones on discount. Got a pair of JBL's on an insane discount (like 75% off the price compared to release). Pretty nifty unit, it has both bluetooth and a minijack, which is what I was looking for, I'm a bit done with crappy cables breaking, but for my desktop setup I do want to be able to run them from my audio interface.

I didn’t set out to join in on the black friday hype, but then I saw a great deal on an Ebow, something I have been after for a while, so I got it. :embarrassed:

Yay, emoji's are back. :embarrassed: was never the same without the image.

Picked myself up a nice flu, feeling like shit sleeping half of the day, being completely wrecked the rest of the day. Great...

Get proper wrecked on whisky.. you'll feel a lot better... in a few days :embarrassed:

So my local has done away with the gantry partition that separated the Old Firm fans / held the spirits. Lots of optics going in the bin so I purloined some for the hot tub :embarrassed:

I have to say, since I found out I am eligible for working tax credits, driving taxis has become much less stressful for me. It has given me a bit more security while I look for other jobs.

I wven managed to take 2 days off this week, been more social. Even going to a local festival on Sunday. :thu:

Especially with the festive period coming up, a big load of pressure dell of my shoulders :thu:

Might even treat myself for xmas :embarrassed:

Done with Vegas. It was a lot of fun but as I was working I had to be semi-sensible. Will definitely be back.

Having said that I just slept 12 hours straight to recover :embarrassed: Now in Boston, what shenanigans can I get up to here?

I am sure you can come up with a few creative ways to piss off our American neighbours :embarrassed:

To stay in where it is nice and toasty, but having to drink tea, or going out in the cold to get WARMING STRONG ALE?

 Hey, Euros (by which I mostly mean wok).

 fellow Euro :embarrassed:

Swapped shift around so I will have the first Saturday off in about 2 years! Me thinks many a REFRESHING LAGER BEER will be consumed

Also decided to treat my daughter (ie myself) to a Nintendo Switch for xmas. Yay!

Nice!

Since I'm unlikely to get much in the way of Christmas presents this year, I've decided to buy myself a couple. I got myself a Garmin running watch and also a long-overdue multi pedal power supply (I used to have one before, but it got lost with all the travelling I've done over the years). I've not done a very good job of holding off till Christmas to start using the watch, but I'm honestly tempted to wrap the power supply and leave it under the tree (sad though that sounds).

Awesome, a running watch has long been on my list, ut I kind of slacked off in the running ( as in: not done it at all for about 6 months  ).

Garmin seems to be the brand to go to :thu:

Had the sat night off for the first time in 2 years or so. Went to pub and got shitfaced on REFRESHING GUINNESS STOUT.
Felt decidedly dodgy yesterday, whilst I was taking my daughter swimming.

Fell asleep around 6pm :embarrassed:

I am too old for this
