Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

School started back today. Wasnt looking forward to it as there was a change of timetable and I was picking up 2 first year classes to teach geography.

I wasn't hot on the idea because geography isn't my subject and one of the classes is brutal. Nice kids but extremely low ability.

Was prepping their lessons today when the boss came in - "we've got long term cover for those classes so you don't have to bother taking them :thu:

Im other news, I've decided to cut out the post work refreshing lager beer so now I'm sitting twiddling my thumbs and on the verge of actually tidying my office before the wife gets home

No. Everything FROM the Gallow gate east, with the exception of the Wellpark Brewery, Loudon and Bristol Bar is a steaming pile of shit.

It's the dunce hat for you sonny boy.

So not only have I gutted the office, I've managed to get on top of over 2 years worth of paperwork that was lying around. There might be something in this avoiding the lager beer :embarrassed:

Thanks, guys. The sellers came back with a counter offer that was just one grand more than what I'd offered, so I told my lawyer to accept it, which he did. He and I think it might've been a typo, though, and that they actually meant ten grand more. Anyway, guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Almost weekend, tonight is going to be Mario Odyssee and REFRESHING BEERS.

Failed another job interview, because the recruitment agent had completely given me the wrong advice as to how to prepare and what type of interview to expect. I came well-prepared, but got a totally different type of interview

So, the search continues...

Mojo.

Sure you done better than the time I berated the head of the English wing 8f the Singapore ministry of education :embarrassed:

Still the taxi, I assume. Sorry.

Any upcoming interviews?

Yep, still taxi.

I have sent a couple of applications, so I am sure something will come up.

Financially, I am doing alright, but the job itself is tedious.
Oh well, I can decide my own hours so taking the opportunity to see my daughter more and have more leisure time :)

So any updates on the flat situation?

Yeah that was a bit of a wasted journey to London.

To be fair he kind of deserved it

'OK so we want you to start off a lesson and we're going to role-play as students, you just do what you would normally do."

He did not take to my behaviour management strategy when he threw a paper aeroplane

Well, I got a big letter in the post with all my mortgage details yesterday, so I think that's that part done. Just waiting to sign the missives now (hopefully this week). I'm totally excited about this and completely shitting myself in case the other side pulls out.

Continued best of luck with the job hunt.

Just got back from NL. Had a great month, my parents were here for a bit over a week the second half of december to be at my graduation ceremony. Had an absolute blast. 24th I went to NL with the GF, had a great christmas seeing a lot of people from both her and my family who we hadn't seen in ages. New year's was great, had a lot of fun, didn't go too crazy on the drinks this time and lit some fireworks. After that just had some time to meet friends, hang with my parents and my brothers and with the GF's family. Now the GF is in Berlin for work, and I'm feeling a bit lonely and directionless.

Also went to the Russian visa centre to apply for a visum, we're going to Murmansk to do a performance there.

Job mojo for wok and house mojo for stu.

So, the Brexit disaster is a gift that just keeps on giving.

Should I start stockpiling food?
