The arsehole contingent of this trip has kept a low profile the past few days after a bit of a rammy we had with them.

They've just resurfaced, in their underwear :/ for a smoke.

One of them is livid - she's just received an e-mail from the Oz version of the brew. Turns out they can use facebook too and have stopped her money because she's meant to be looking for a job instead of holidaying in Bali. :facepalm:

Had a chilled weekend, bought a new bargain pedalboard and some other assorted guitar related things like a powersource and cables.

Today a fairly chilled working day

Mate the food here has been ridiculous and it's stupid cheap - I've had more wagyu steaks / burgers / satay / whatever this week than I've had in my entire life up until this point :embarrassed:

Cooking targets after coming home is getting a legit satay and rendang down.

Damn, I would be sooooo happy with some good babi ketjap or sate right now :( Indonesian food is something I miss so much.

Anyway @jbj here's a pic of the grater. It's not the prettiest, but it's damn handy for grating stuff like ginger for curries:

Dull day, but ar least it’s not raining...yet

Spent last night assembling pedalboard. Discovered I ordered way too many 9v cables and not enough patch cables. Also need more leads so I can put parts through the effects loop.

Also already struggling with space on the board :facepalm:

Who knew a pedalboard was such a hassle to organise :mad:
 
Afternoon. Last full day of the holiday.

Out for lunch in the old colonial Dutch part of North Jakarta.

My friend decided it was more cost effective to order a whole bottle of gin, after we'd already drank 4 of course, so we're now very refreshed and en route to being asked to leave this rather nice establishment. :embarrassed:

GF left to work in NL for 3 months. I'm now stuck 2 days a week in some bullshit mandatory academic writing course. At least the weather's good :embarrassed:
