Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

So given I've been tanning a bottle of prossecco in the hot tub a night for the past few weeks I'm now demolishing my replacement Christmas Day stash

Just been over to a mate's who is selling some good stuff cheap - boxes a little dented from falling off the lorry and all that  - and his son walks into the room: Mr JBJ wtf are you doing here?

It was a kid I used to teach :embarrassed:

My dad just called me: Alright son, don't bother buying any red wine for Christmas, I've got plenty - are you still drinking that prossecco stuff?

"I take it you're going up to Wardys?"

"How did you know that???"

merry christmas. may it be filled with refreshing lagerbeers and familial belligerence :embarrassed:

 Good luck with the dinners and family and all that.

I'm going to have a lot of REFRESHING LAGER BEERS to pull me through. At least tomorrow at the in-laws will be nice, boxing day with my grandma, not so much.

Happy christmas to all of you :)

Dinner done, and it was glorious :embarrassed:

Now, more lager.
Do you Norwegians have Julmust?

One of the big grocery superstores here by me had some for sale last Christmas time, but I didn't buy any. This year I told myself I'd try it, but they didn't offer it for sale this time :(

Think that's a Swedish thing, although I suppose you can get it a few places here as well.

It pops up in Finland as well, student restaurants have it. I didn't really see it in supermarkets (but I didn't look for it...) , but it's probably everywhere in Swedish speaking areas.

So it's been spewmageddon at the wok residence

Christmas was spent in bed as xmas eve my daughter had the vomiting bug, then xmas day my gf and then boxing day me.

Fuck me, for one night and day I was so ill. I had to throw up so hard I think I broke my sternum. Today it all disappeared thankfully

But this will be a christmas to be remembered for all the wrong reasons

I've ended up picking up a last minute gig for tonight. Stupid money so I couldn't really refuse.

Means I don't need to mope around the pub annoyed after the game today
