I answered the door in my cheshire cat onesie to my neighbour who was a bit pissed that I'd accidentally took his bin in and he'd had to go and collect mine which had been blown down the street
Proper accident - we usually put each others bins in depending on who gets in from work first, this time there was no bin at theres and one lying on its side at my drive. I assumed they hadn't wanted to pick mine up because it was wet and gross.
Yes! Survived the weekend, thanks for asking. Nothing to report, it snowed a bit, then it melted. Went swimming with family for bloody hours on Sunday.
Weekend was spent ripping apart and rebuilding son's room. Got rid of some old flatpack furniture, built him some new shelves and a work desk for his homework. Hard work but satisfying to get the job done and he's chuffed with the extra storage and extra space we've managed to make.
oh yeah, can pick up my new car tonight. Few things to sort out such as insurance and paperwork. Car is smaller than my old one, so cheaper insurance, cheaper to run and less road tax. All around winner. Apart from the fact that it doesn't have a turbo engine :(
