Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Hello wankers.

I'm back in Finland after 2 weeks in the Netherlands. Had fun, Christmas wasn't as bad as it could've been and new years is a bit of a blur. Now it's -15 degrees here and packed with snow.

Didn't catch much of the football lately, I used to watch MOTD every weekend, but I stopped doing that for no particular reason... Only thing I did catch was Bony to ManCity? What the hell?

Seems like a good signing. Proven Premiership goalscorer who will offer them something different.

Now, the fact that it's Liverpool who should have signed him........ :embarrassed:

Were heavily linked with him last summer, rumoured to be called off due to "outlandish" wage demands. Definitely would have been much better than the useless Balotelli for sure. :embarrassed:

Afternoon fellow brothers etc

Cars suck. I don't know anything about them so when they break down I'm left stuck next to the AA man just feeling like a spare part. Hate that.

Luckily I have a Vauxhall Meriva which is basically just a pussy loving shag palace.

I don't know, I've seen him play a lot when he was at Vitesse, he definately is a good goal scorer, but he's not the most mobile of players. He's one of those strikers that tends to be invisible for 85 minutes and deadly in the 5 minutes he decides to do something. Nothing wrong with that, but in the top teams, especially in the PL, they usually expect more from a striker. With Dzeko and Aguero at hand I don't really see him get the time he needs to just stroll around and pick his moments.

Phoned my car insurance for a courtesy car, as my car looks to be unreparable (engine royally borked).

They tell me they can't give me one, because I didn't use them yesterday to get the car recovered (i called the AA of which I am also a member).

And I was supposed to know this...how?

Damn insurance assholes. Crazy expensive and always some shithole reason to not help you out in any way...

Good luck with your car.

Threaten to move once your policy is up. Renewals are where insurance companies make their money so it's the worst case scenario for them. Worse in some ways than making a claim!

Source: I work for an insurance company :embarrassed:

Am on it today

Oi oi how are we all then?

Car mojo Wok. on the upside, January is a pretty good time to be buying a used car price wise.

My business e-mail went fubar yesterday and somehow an (ex) potential client received an amalgamation of several e-mails for other people plus a quote way below what hers was, like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay below.

Cheeky cow got back to me going - Hi Jim thanks for getting back to me. my name isn't Laura, that's not my date or venue and it's not a 2 hour kids party we're having but that's a great price we'll go for it.

Ummmm no my dear your all day wedding on the other side of Edinburgh with 3 different set ups and live guitar at various stages will be considerably more :embarrassed:
