Alright pricks  weather looks deceptively nice today. Not sure wether to venture out on my bike or not, it looked like this when I fell off and did my ribs in, I'm a bit scared to ride when it's like this now :embarrassed:

What's the worst that could happen? :embarrassed:

More snow here, not that cold anymore though, it's now a 'comfortable' -5...

Writing a motivation letter for a masters application, I really suck at writing about myself in a positive way :embarrassed:

Yup. Wanks. I wouldn't mind if it was my fault but they've basically said "yeah so when you registered this company and set everything up, you really should have used your old sign in (from a thing I ran for a month or two in 2008!!!!) because that's the account we'll use.

I don't get it to be honest and if I do get fined I'll be appealing it because surely something should have flagged when I was putting my details in to register for the DJing to say "wait a minute pal, we've already got someone with that NI number on file, is it you?"

What we all up to this eve lads?

They've opened a Wetherspoon's on the local Main St so tonight the Mrs wants to walk past the best pub for literally miles around (and is perfect stumbling distance to HQ) to go there and spend the night not listened to said previous boozer's dynamite jukey but instead the natter of the local wankers who would rather sit with no tellys, music or atmos for the sake of saving 4 bob a pint

Quiet night tonight. Early flight to the Alps for a weeks snowboarding tomorrow. Can't wait :thu:

Fuuuuu I'm so jealous...

To be honest, all I've got to do is borrow a car and drive for less than an hour to go snowboarding but for some reason it didn't happen yet.

Now first a nice weekend of doing fuck all. I've been a bit under the weather last week so lots of tea hanging around cleaning the house and stuff like that.

So everyone and their gran seemed to be in wetherspoons last night including my neighbours.

I like them a lot but if I ever get to the point in life where a night out in wetherspoons without the kids is a HUGE deal, one of you better put me out of my misery. :)

Oi, I resemble that remark!

Although on the notably rare exceptions Mrs V and I make it out on our ownsomes, we do at least set the bar higher. (A night at the opera, an out of town Iron Maiden gig or a weekend in Paris.)

But they are pretty bloody notably rare.

I have horrible bandmates. :embarrassed:

The rest of our Queen tribute band are now in Engerland seeing Queen and Adam Lambert (I couldn't afford going...), and they keep sending me pics and vids from the concert.
Bastards. :embarrassed:

Just got back to the hotel from seeing Queen with Adam Lambert. F*cking brilliant gig!

Not that I'd rub it in @Dexter Inferno

Yeah just a few going on.

Lambert was bloody superb it must be said. To paraphrase Freddie, "He's fabulous, darling".

I spent the whole day cleaning up my mac and upgrading to OSX Yosemite. Not sure if I like it yet, but I was getting quite tired of running into compatibility issues with 10.6.8 which I never bothered to upgrade :embarrassed:

Rest of the night shall be spent on the coach with the GF watching Marco Polo.

Morning all

Dammit! I KNEW I should have bought tickets for Queen. Theyre here in Germany in a few months and I almost…..almost bought tickets. Then i didn't. Then I changed my mind and wanted to go see them, looked at the available seats online and they're to the right and left of the stage high up in the arena. Theres even a warning saying something like "warning, the view from this seat is restricted" so fuck that.

Pissed off now. My first ever concert (and Queens last with Freddie) was Queen at Knebworth park in 1986. Ive heard nothing but good things about their latest tour (miles better than the last effort with that fucktard from Free)

Fuck.

I saw the second tour with Paul Rodgers and it was damn good to be honest but I'm a fan of his as well as Queen so it was a good mix for me. This tour is much more in the spirit of Queen to my mind.
