Question: Replacement pickup suggestions...

Ok, hopefully you see where I went wrong.

On the SC I put the wires exactly where the stock ones were, and for the HB I followed the Fokin layout.
Green/white:Tied and isolated
Black/clear:to ground
Red to the switch

Here is the stock pup...looks like red and Bare are soldered together and the black, white and green went ....well, somewhere.

You dont get sound in any position? With the knobs all the way up?

Nothing....I plugged into my DAW and did the tap test. I'll certainly try again.
Is there anything that's jumping out at you as a mistake in my wiring?

I don't think the switch is wired correctly.

Pull the red wire off from the bridge pickup and check the other two.

The single coils look OK- even if you'd borked the HB, you'd still hear the singles.

-Is the volume up? If I had a dime for every time this was the problem...

-Check for a loose ground wire- it's fairly common for wires to come loose when you're working on other stuff, I was just putting a series/parallel switch in my Tele last week and it came up dead when I put it back together- the ground wire to the output jack had come off.

You can do this, just hang in there!

Ok...I plugged into a real amp and did the tap test...I'm getting sound from four of the switch positions...2 thru 5....position 1 (humbucker) get nothing.
However there is horrendous 60 cycle hum from all positions.

When I try to connect the N finish+ S finish up to the specified lug I'm still getting a lot of hum.
So I think I've got the wiring right up to why I can't get positions 1,2 and 4 to be hum cancelling...???
