Question: Replacement pickup suggestions...

Success!!!! Got it!!!
I found a schematic that explained it in terms of north/south start and finish and I was able to much easier follow that instead of translating manufacturers color codes.
I was also able to wire it so position 2 splits the humbucker and combines it with the middle pickup...

I've meant to help out with the wiring but with my kids thinking I'm a jungle gym I couldn't get my brain into wiring mode. Glad you figured it out.

I wish Fender still made the Floyd Strats like that. I hate floating Floyds. That thing is sexy. Plus it has the PingWell made Floyd that was the precursor to the 1000 series Floyds.

No worries man!! Family before Fenders!!

I always wondered about this Floyd. It has Floyd Rose stamped on it but then also says licensed by...on it.

It's made by Ping/PingWell. Same company that makes golf clubs. At the time that it was made it was the only officially licensed Floyd ever made. I like the way they laser engraved the Floyd Rose logo on them. I'm not entirely sure but my theory is that it's them that makes the 1000 series Floyds.
 
Just got back from shopping. Glad it all worked out. So, what's it sound like?

Also, I hope you learned today, there are guys on here that live for this stuff, waiting, hoping somebody will post a puzzle.

Well, I've only had a chance to play it through the Orange Micro Dark Terror, which is an ok backup amp but not exactly my Quickrod or Marshall.(neither one of them is set-up at the moment.) But already it's a big improvement over the stock pups.
The neck pickup sounds especially good. It handled the high gain with ease and didn't get muddy at all. I'll post a better review once I get to play it through my big boy amps.
