The law enforcement investigation into possible coordination between Russia and the Trump campaign has identified a current White House official as a significant person of interest, showing that the probe is reaching into the highest levels of government, according to people familiar with the matter.

The senior White House adviser under scrutiny by investigators is someone close to the president, according to these people, who would not further identify the official.

From that article:

Spicer also said the real story were the negative leaks.

"Once again, the real story is that our national security has been undermined by the leaking of private and highly classified conversations,” he said.

Hmm. Isn't that like the school bully who steals physically weaker kids' lunch money, or the some local mobster/protection extortionists, complaining that the real story is someone tattled on them?

I noticed the press building up steam against Pence this week. I think some of them are legitimately critiquing his competence and integrity. But I think they’re also trying to create a narrative of a split between Pence and Trump that lets them describe a party with three internal factions—Fundies, Teabaggers, Old Reagan Republicans—if Trump goes. That could be a bad thing, because the conservative media junkies will decide their team really is fighting the other two RINO teams and insist on no compromises.
i don't know.....if the wingnuts try a stranglehold....the moderates may drift LEFT

Trump is the political equivalent of Homer Simpson.
Homer managed to get more stupid with every episode, year after year. Trump does this on a daily basis.
