Unfortunately, they will try to spin this as "He said No to addressing the question in that venue at that time. It was not a direct answer to the question itself."

It's bullshit of course, but there will be enough people that will believe it or just not care.
Hopefully, enough people that can do something about it see it as another plop on the pile that he's made of his presidency.

There was a dude in my college fraternity who, jokingly, used to throw out in political arguments: "Gawddamn Democraaaattttssss! Fukkin' Chappaquiddick??!!!", in some sort of Boston/Maine/NewEngland-ish sort of accent. (sorry, I don't know the differences between those accents, and don't know which one he was going for or if he was accurate.)

Probably had to be there, but he was pretty funny.

if anyone else, other than a kennedy, had done that.....they would have been cooked. i've always been a fan of jack and bobby, but teddy was a giant piece of shit.

I noticed the press building up steam against Pence this week. I think some of them are legitimately critiquing his competence and integrity. But I think they’re also trying to create a narrative of a split between Pence and Trump that lets them describe a party with three internal factions—Fundies, Teabaggers, Old Reagan Republicans—if Trump goes. That could be a bad thing, because the conservative media junkies will decide their team really is fighting the other two RINO teams and insist on no compromises.
