if a person searches for information that supports their personal opinions, they will find plenty of information that supports them. DOES NOT mean it's actually fact or true.
I think that's the gist of the article. But not only that, they just aren't good at getting accurate information even though they think they are because they either don't search accurately or thoroughly.

exactly. when they find a bunch of "articles" that support their position, they feel vindicated and move on. they never actually look at the SOURCES of the info and whether or not the sources seem accurate.
