Now that we're into a couple weeks of Corvfefe what have you been creating in the kitchen?

No oil here. Just MSG (salt), garlic, salt, salt, and salt.

no salt....accent.....accent! and then garlic (salt) ....and more grease, everywhere. I bet if you were to walk into taks house and immediatly turned around and walked out you would smell like grease when you got home :letseat:

ddbob's jerky burgers: 100% dry, that's the deebo guarantee

So far, we've made beer bread, chicken stock/soup, toll-house cookies with oat flour, pasta with oat flour, fresh-squeezed blood orange juice, and a lovely marinated London Broil.

I had leftover Goulosh(i) stuff I threw together covidlockdown style...I had some grass fed trader joes ground beef, some deep deep frozen carrots/peas, about 7 oz of sour cream, some beef broth, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper....no accent, i onion, a half can of diced tomatos.....cooked it up and boiled some jasmine rice and BAM! goulosh stuff and it was moist.....

We’re trying grocery delivery tonight for the first time. Should arrive in a couple hours. Hopefully salmon on the grill for supper.

I spent $70 on various scandinavian-ish pastries yesterday (online order/payment, contactless pickup) from a bakery whose owners I became chummy with before my recent move. So guess what I had for breakfast and lunch?

this week = beef stroganoff, teriaki marinated country style pork ribs, rosemary & sage sausage, roasted brussel sprouts & asparagus, spinach salad with fresh mushroom & boiled egg, my recipe for Mexican corn made with fresh sweet corn, tonight is 'beer & (home made) pizza' night with fried mushrooms, and tomorrow I am grilling a porterhouse & a T-bone served with more asparagus & baked potato.

As soon as I can locate some baby backs on sale I am firing up the smoker for some 'Ark-La-Tex' style ribs.

Bon Appétit

My wife made us beans on toast for lunch. Cheap white bread, a tin of beans - it was fucking beautiful I tell you.
speaking of toast i have been making this a lot since teh covid...

frozen red and green pepper bits (bell peppers)
onion (frozen in the mix above or fresh
diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
cumin
salt
red pepper flakes
pepper
paprika
one or two eggs

fry up the above minus the eggs and then drop the eggs on top and cook till done, somewhat runny
toast yer tyoast obviously...or use some crunchy stale bread....shot of whisky (not in the food but in yer belly) and dig in :)
