Exactly. Managing one's expectations with a $150 guitar is key. But their $150 guitars almost always kick the snot out of anything else at a similar price point.

I have overseen manufacturing in both nations and hey are pretty even. The Reverends are just better looking and have a cooler vibe to them.

Yeah, a bit. It was also on the Yamaha Guitar Development site with 2 teaser pics (that one and a closeup of the headstock) with a pic saying "inspired by the finest Japanese denim".

I could do without the rust pickguard actually, but I stool find it hot.

I still kick myself that I never got one of those RGX A2 guitars. Yamaha can do a reasonably-priced-yet-innovative guitar better than most.

What was innovative about the RGX A2?
