New Yamaha RevStar line

So the GC near where I was working today got two of the entry-level ones in (the 320s).

Tried one out, it was REALLY light (must be the nato). The neck was one of the nicest carves I've ever felt - right smack between Gibson '50s and '60s, with an ever-so-slight V shape near the top. Also, for those who feared the fb radius was too flat: I noticed a curvature similar to the PRS 10".

My only gripe was the pickups, but at this level, they are the generic ceramics; I believe they go alnico starting the next level up.

Gonna be either a 420 or a Streamliner Jr. coming next, with the Gretsch holding the lead at the moment.

I was hoping for this. The expensive ones I’ve seen listed on Sweetwater are all over 8.5 pounds, which is about two pounds more than I like. But if I can get a light guitar for $399 and replace the pups I might have found another solidbody to go with my SG Specials.
