Why did they put Chara in a full face guard, then keep him on the bench? That just seemed mean.

Or... maybe the Blues shut them down again. The Blues showed up again. If the blues stay 5 on 5 they can win this.

The Bruins top line players are getting their points on the power play. I think they only have one point on 5 on 5 so far.

I wonder if Chara had a concussion and was forced to sit by league protocol. Otherwise he is a hockey pussy (admittedly hockey players have a different scale of toughness).
 
Cassidy bitching about Berube's bitching about the officiating is just too rich, especially when he follows that up with bitching about a call against his team.

Yeah, I agree: B's did not show up. Avoided hits - see: Cassidy rant, CBH series. They still almost won.

My wife and I thought Chara on the bench with the Ow! visor looked like a dog with the cone of shame.

Tonight ought to be epic, although if the B's no-show again, it'll fizzle like a fart on a beach blanket.
 
Maybe if they didn’t “embellish” every bit of contact they have they could get more calls. That bicycle kick after he was tripped was very soccer-like.

I think the ref could have called tripping AND embellishment so he let them play on—again, very soccer’ish.

No sympathy from the Blues. When they got fucked hard by the refs they didn’t get any time to overcome it.

That game came down to a goalie war and Binnington won it.

He is a bad actor. This isn't Broadway acting this is WWE wrestling acting.

I think had he not kicked his right leg back to "sell" the call, he wouldn't have hit his head--at least not as hard. They are embarassing themselves more than the refs. Which is hard. Bad mojo works again.



It sounded to me like their coach wasn't over it like he said he was in his interview. hehe Poor coach.

Oh yeah, fuck the Bruins and Fuck Cam Neely (didn't realize he was a lefty :))!

Also forgot. Fuck former Blue David Backes. Having him mention about how he doesn't want cheap shots part of the game. He was a cheap shot artist for 10 years as a Blue. He was good at getting away with it. He crossed the line many times. Thank the hockey gods that we didn't resign him. He was already overpaid. His cap space was spent on Ryan O'Reilly.

Then he got benched from game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals! hahahahahahahahahaha!!! Love it! Former captain watching from the press box.


:secret:(actually he is a great guy off the ice. Very generous with his time for charities. I would love have a beer with the guy but right now he is the enemy, and the enemy must suffer!)
