It's going to be interesting to see what happens when Brady, Gronk and Belichick retire, which probably isn't that far off. I suspect they will return to their 80's glory.

The year that Rodgers was drafted at #24, the Redskins drafted Carlos Rogers at #7 then traded back up into the 1st round to draft Jason Campbell at #25.

And that’s very sad.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens when Brady, Gronk and Belichick retire, which probably isn't that far off. I suspect they will return to their 80's glory.

If they do, I will still be a fan. Was a fan before TB12 was drafted. Only way I would defect is if the team changes their team first policy. Hence booting the stars that hold out, etc. The whole Patriots environment is team first, I second.

I give them credit for that. They're not afraid to let a "superstar" go and replace him with someone else. They've had a revolving door at running back for a while now and it hasn't hurt them at all.

That is one of the main reasons that I am a fan of the Pats. IIRC, it started with Bill Parcells as he had a similar philosophy when he coached the Giants. FYI - Belichick was an assistant on that team on that team as well.
