Give me something to watch on Netflix

This could end badly given John Cleese has turned into an old man yelling at clouds. Or maybe it the perfect time to bring Basil back. :conf:

Maybe the most intriguing part is Rob Rainer's involvement. Along with his Spinal Tap sequel he could either be triumphant or tarnish the reputation of two of the most beloved comedies ever. No pressure mate.

I loved watching Fawlty Towers reruns when I was a kid. Tried it a couple of years ago, and found it an obnoxious bore.

I can’t imagine a reboot being any good, given that Larry David’s been doing it better, smarter, and funnier for decades. And so have dozens of other dark comedy series.

That's a bigger shoe in than my weekly cheeky score on Rangers - 3 or more goals, win both Half's and keep a clean sheet during our glorious 55th league winning season. :embarrassed:

Just watched the first episode of The Last of Us. I enjoyed it a lot.
I am 4 episodes in and I am really liking it. I knew very little of the video game but I don't know if that makes a difference vis a vis expectations and such.

Excited for episode 3 of The Last of Us tonight.
That one really threw me for a loop but after I finished being in "what the ..." mode, it was an excellent episode!

I am up to date now too. Man, episode 3 was some heartbreaking shit. Great writing and acting.

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD

Also, how about when the raiders came? They fucked around and found out the hard away!

From what I gather (played the game multiple times and haven't seen the series yet) the first one or two episodes were almost exactly the game brought to screen. Now they're expanding on what was only implied or giving back stories. I don't recall Kansas City anything from the game, but excited to find out what that's about.

Joel and Tommy's back story?

Nick Offerman and Murry Bartlett both delivered astounding performances. Murry was easily the best thing about White Lotus' first season.
When we were talking about that episode a couple days later, my Wife mentioned that just thinking about it was making her all emotional and she can't remember a series episode ever having that much impact.

tt was astounding. It think it even works as a standalone episode.

I was just surprised. High quality writing and acting.

I watched a few episodes of Cunk on Earth. It's kind of like Spinal Tap without the subtlety and charm. I did laugh a couple of times, but it seems to be best in small doses.

I just re-watched HBO’s Chernobyl miniseries and there’s a new-ish documentary on HBO as well. Very very good. Assembled entirely of actual footage and first hand accounts. It’s called Chernobyl The Lost Tapes
