Give me something to watch on Netflix

Since Wandavision is done and we have a week until Falcon and Winter Soldier starts.... We have just gone back and are rewatching the series "Imposters". Very fun (and often funny) thrill ride of scammers, hustlers, and people who are sick of getting fucked over.

That was a fun ride.

We watched that and enjoyed it very much. When it started to get really weird there toward the end, we thought it might have jumped the shark. But then all was explained.
Thumbs up!
It definitely jumps the shark. It wasn't horrible, but I felt, uh, I dunno, cheated maybe. I expected more substance.

Binged The One last weekend. Pretty enjoyable. You have to suspend a little disbelief, as the premise is scientifically kinda goofy. But there's a decent story there and some cool intrigue.
Plus, Hannah Ware is quite alluring.

We've been dipping in and out of Trial By Media.

It's fascinating and frightening to see how US criminal lawyers do their thing.

I scrolled back and now realize i screwed up. I didn't tell you about The Eyes of My Mother while it was still on NFlx. Strange assed creepy movie.

Inside No. 9

Dark comedy/horror anthology with a different story every episode. Like most anthologies the quality varies, from very good to amazing. On the iPlayer in the UK or HBO Max or Hulu in the US

Anyone watching Invincible on Prime?
It's fucking awesome!
Also, if you want to do a sort of MST3000 thing with a ridiculous movie on Netflix, give What Lies Below a try. So stupid!

Mrs JBJ today - do you fancy watching Line of Duty, it's meant to be really good.

JBJ - no

Mrs JBJ - Is it because Martin Compston is in it?

JBJ - Yes

Mrs JBJ - ....

My old neighbour popped by the other day. I showed him the first episode of Tiger King because of the new Louis Theroux doc.

He sent me a text later that night (he is nearly 80 to be fair): "I'm trying to find that lion king programme but it keeps showing cartoons."

We watched the first episode of 'This is a Robbery's about the Gardner museum heist. Really well done documentary.
