Euro 2020 (in 2021)

Pretty sure he's just gonna get fired. Really should have just stayed with the Dutch squad. Would be nice to see de Boer go as well.

Barca can't afford to fire Koeman at the moment, which is hilarious. They're practically bankrupt and can only sign players on free transfers, and they're now doing the rounds with players asking them to take wage cuts. No wonder they've been clinging on to the Super League stuff along with Real (who are also fucked financially) and Juve.

As for de Boer, he's a painfully bad manager. Remember when he tried to get Crystal Palace to play like Ajax and Barca. That went well. 5 games, one goal scored, sacked.

Well I'd love to say that Czechia played well and all that, but they didn't. Just a piss poor game. NL deserved to go out if they play like this, so in that sense, good job for punishing them by Czechia..

Ya, I forgot to add that part before the edit :embarrassed:

De Boer is a good trainer, but a garbage manager. They literally looked completely unprepared for this game, his changes after the red card made no sense whatsoever. He's good at making players better, he's thrash at running a team. At Ajax he got a bunch of youngsters he'd been working with already, and he made them tons better, which was just enough to win in the Dutch league where every other club was plagued with problems at that time. I do genuinely think he's been very important in the careers of a few players like Eriksen and Alderweireld, , but when he has to actually take care of the team and make sure they know what to do in games it's just dreadful. And his choice of subs is just next level potato logic.

I've totally checked out of the tourney, just can't get into it.

Going to follow Sweden for my sweep and watch England during the week but I can't get excited about any of it.

well done to the Czech Republic for playing on the Dutch weakness, which is the tactical choices of De Boer. Holland were piss poor today and I suspect they just massively underestimated the Czechs.

Think most people expected a fairly comfortable win for the Dutch, but they really shat it. Even without the red card I think the Czechs would have eventually won it.

I wouldn't say that, and things would have been completely different had Malen scored. But any good coach has a plan B, De Boer didn't have a clue what to do after the red card. Nor did the players.

The way they played didn't look like there was even a plan A :embarrassed:

It really seemed like they didn't spend more than a few minutes on analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the Czech team...
