Euro 2020 (in 2021)

Only watched the Finland game today, had to play myself after (1-1, but at least I did my job and scored :embarrassed:)

Finland was surprisingly good. I think they can be proud of how they played as a debuting team. And I think some players like Kamara, Hradecky, Uronen and O'Shaughnessy might be playing at bigger clubs after summer. Too bad they had a goal canceled and gave the 0-1 away quite silly, but all in all it could have been worse as well.

Kamara cost us £50k  unbelievable bit of business. I don't think he'll go this Summer but if he does we're laughing.

I now have just under 200 notes on my ladbrokes account after todays bet. I'm going to sleep on it but I'm pretty sure I'm putting it all on England winning on Friday :embarrassed:

Well done :thu:

That group could get really interesting if Denmark beat Russia (this is assuming the Danes lose against Belgium). Quite likely 3 teams on 3 points, so goal difference could decide who goes through.
Finland has been surprisingly decent considering the lack of stars. Very few will have heard much about other players than Pukki, Kamara and Hradecky.

Put my full balance: £196.33 on England to win tomorrow. Would by lying if I said I was feeling a twinge of gamblers regret already

Yeah it's easilly the biggest bet I've ever put on.

i can see them getting a kicking but knowing my luck Scotland will come out with all guns blazing.

Won't be any lack of motivation for Scotland. But...England should have enough quality in their team to win it. :embarrassed:

Danes played really well tonight, gave Belgium a really good game. Inches away from a draw.

Kevin De Bruyne though. What a player.

Yeah Denmark played really, really well. Didn't expect them to bounce back like this. First 40 minutes Belgium just had no counter whatsoever.

Belgium showed their insane strength again though, give them a bit too much space once or twice and they immediately punish you for it.

The Dutch match was a bit boring. Not bad, just quite predictable. First few minutes looked fun, after that it was over. Dumb foul by Alaba for the penalty, Dumfries is going to be man of the tournament if he keeps going like this. I'm not a huge fan of Weghorst in the team. I get why he (or a player like him) is in there, but he and Depay really don't seem to understand each other very well and it's just not really working.

Has Sturgeon and the Justice Minister come out and condemned the Scottish fans that have descended on London yet? Asking for a friend. :embarrassed:

I rather see Malen with Depay up front. When he came on yesterday, you immediately saw an urgency and drive forward

I was referring to the droves of supporters fucking off to watch the game in a park a few hundred miles away...

Opening 2 minutes of our coverage - James McAvoy talking about Bannockburn and the Poll Tax

I want Scotland to do well but parochial shite like that makes me want to hit my head off the wall

So we didn't win AND I lost my bet :bigg:

Quality Friday night. 2nd bottle of wine now opened:embarrassed:

I'm out the back, half a dozen "fans" have just rocked over the hill at back of mine shouting "Harry Kane's a m*ngo" at full pelt :frown:

England mediocre at best, massively overhyped as usual. Scotland playing to their ability, shame they don’t have a decent striker up front.
