I am a lifelong Angel fan. I am just not as much into it any more. I still root for the Angels, ( as I do my other teams in other sports) but after the Rams lost to the Pats in 2002 I stopped being so die-hard. I still like to talk about sports, I just don't invest so much of myself into them any more.We don't have any Angels fans.
I'm a long time Angels fan. The first MLB game I attended was an Angels game where Reggie Jackson hit his 500th home run. I suffered through the playoff losses of '82 and '86 and all the other losing years after that. I was ecstatic when the won it all in '02. I had high hoped when they got Pujols, only to be left feeling betrayed when he didn't keep up his previous levels of performance (as so many players do once they "get paid" like he did). Since then I haven't been to excited by the team since they have some of the best players in the league, but can't put together a winning season. Last year was so painful. We don't have any Angels fans.
He has a blister on his pitching hand that is affecting the quality of his pitches. Everyone has an off day once in a while. Hopefully this isn't the start of a trend.Ohtani met the Red Sox. Lasted two innings.

I'm loving it, but expect regression from a pitching standpoint. Though over half the team isn't hitting so that aspect is likely to improve. Getting Neshek and Eickhoff back will be a bonus... They're definitely a lot more fun to watch than the last five years.
I dunno if the pitching is going to regress. The Mets rotation is already flaming out and the Nationals have been awful all around. The Phillies, even more than the Braves, haven't hit their stride and will have money to spend at the deadline. I'm not saying it's their year but they could make it very interesting.
Hopefully last nights Nats will stick around for a while.
They'd better do it this year before Harper signs with the Yankees or Dodgers in December.
