Many contained sizeable amounts cocaine.
I did a quick online search and found mostly contradictory information to those points. It is notable that usage in the 18-24 yr old demographic has risen but usage in the under 18 demographic has decreased or remains unchanged by most accounts.
w/r/t #3, the number of people seeking treatment is relatively unchanged but the consumption frequency among those seeking treatment is higher.
Hospitalizations for mj related conditions has risen though

Do you have more recent links? This is a topic that's on the news here rather frequently and the info above jives with much of what I see reported.

That's interesting. One would think that with a regulated substance, that it would be harder to obtain illegally. That just illustrates how easy it is for real-life to diverge from the predicted, logical path. I wonder how many growers taking advantage of the law to grow legally, but bypass the system (and taxes) to sell illegally for higher profit margins. My info on the increase in minor usage is not from an article but from multiple teachers in multiple schools. I trust that info more (first hand) than what the news or the state might report. It could also be that those using under the age of 18 are just using more. I don't know. I just know what they tell me they see at the schools every day.

That is one place they should really up the penalties and it would really piss me off. You have it out there legally now, and you want to skate the system to make a few extra bucks.
The problem is that the tax is super high and it's still much cheaper to get it the old fashioned way. That's interesting. Honestly, even if the taxes are high, I would still rather be able to legally buy it and not get busted for having it. That may be just me, but with having kids, being arrested for having some pot is far worse than having to pay a tax on it. Maybe it also differs by state, but my brother in law says it is about the same price to legally buy it in CA than it is to buy it illegally in VA. That and the quality in CA is way better. The problem is that the tax is super high and it's still much cheaper to get it the old fashioned way.
Wrong on that Gary. Please discuss medicinal alcohol, cuz that is a thing, right?
Don't wish to start an argument, and I know it is your business, but placing pot and booze in the same category is bullshit.
Not saying pot can't be abused, but it clearly has medicinal properties, which cannot be claimed about alcohol.

I wouldn't pay retail.
Studies have shown that moderate consumption of red wine can reduce the risk of heart disease and lower cholesterol.
