2019 Concert thread

Last time I was in the park it was the Flaming Lips. I took candy from strangers. Never a smart move.
We've been up there for a few shows in the park. I think Trombone Shorty was the last one. So we've got this one and then Sting is playing in the park in September and we've got tix for that too.

Saw Rolling Stones at Soldier Field in Chicago on Tuesday.

My wife wants us to go see Carrie Underwood at the Grand Ole Oprey next month when we are down there for NAMM....

... and I have tickets in the fall for Jason Mraz. :)

Tour starts tonight in SoFla. I’ll be peeping at the setlist to see if it’s worth the haul up to Jiffy Lube.

A buddy of mine, who is in the official Maiden fan club and has seen them probably 20 times all over the world, sent me this as the setlist. Not sure if it's completely accurate, but coming from him, I'd trust it.
  1. Aces High
  2. Where Eagles Dare
  3. 2 Minutes to Midnight
  4. The Clansman
  5. The Trooper
  6. Revelations
  7. For the Greater Good of God
  8. The Wicker Man
  9. Sign of the Cross
  10. Flight of Icarus
  11. Fear of the Dark
  12. The Number of the Beast
  13. Iron Maiden
  14. The Evil That Men Do
  15. Hallowed Be Thy Name
  16. Run to the Hills

6/10 at best. I’ll likely sit this one out.

Camper Van Beethoven and some obligatory swag.

No shots of Johnny Hickman ripping it up?
I didn't take any photos during Cracker's set; I stepped away and got some tacos.

I like Cracker just fine (and Johnny sounded great), but my heart will always belong to CVB.

I had never seen Cracker until a couple years ago and couldn't believe how good Hickman was. Maybe I wasn't paying attention to his playing on the records, or maybe he just lets loose live, but that guy can play.
