Why don't YOU like Les Pauls?

There is definitely some subtle figuring in the plaintop. A little Birdseye and the way the flashes are around the knobs.

My only gripe with LPs is the muddy clean tone.

I like the Les Paul design. Other builders have improved the design so Gibson is no longer the only option.

I don't like the way the neck angles back, and they are uncomfortable as hell to play sitting down, at least for me. Not a fan of the scale length either.

I'm not a fan of the 2+2 control layout. For whatever reason, it doesn't bother me on my dot.

Just ran across the discontinued Reverend Roundhouse today, though. I'll be grabbing one of those if I ever have money when one pops up.

I don't. My LP is the easiest to play in my stable and that's why it's played the most. It fits like a glove.
