Watching the Bay Area Relief fundraiser- Metallica is on. Kirk Hammett is using the Peter Green Les Paul. I'm really glad such a historic instrument is being played.

To me, Kirk sounds so much better on a Les Paul.

I have to listen at least once todsy.

I am now searching for The Silent Drill Team videos.

Hold music jazz guitar. I am supposed to be taking part in a teleconference, but it seems no one else is involved. I am waiting a few more minutes in case it was 12:30 and not 12. o_O

Adrian is fucking awesome.
That band never quits, and always puts on a great show.

They could kick Janik to the curb though
He's a fifth wheel.

Seen them live 5 times since the early 90s. Best live band I've ever seen.
Plenty of bands are better technically, but Bruce in particular is a bloody master at getting the crowd involved.
And how the fuck is he able to still sing like that?

And...what other band can have the crowd singing along to every guitar theme as well as the vocal melody? Yup, there's a lesson in there.

I have seen them 4 times, starting back to the '80s.

Incredible how strong of a live band they still are.
The amount of fans they have world wide
,old and new is impressive.
You have fans from 8 to 70 years old at shows.

Up The Irons!

Very true.

Dragged along a good friend of mine at a concert in Oslo a good few years ago, he's always been more of a punk guy so had no real relationship with their music.
At the end of the show he was a fan.

They really are a special band. I think what a lot of people love is they're such normal, honest, down to earth blokes having a whole lot of fun.
Nothing fake about them whatsoever. We need that as music fans. :)

Above average earworm that actually represents the last dying gasp of AM pop. After Cream, Hendrix and Sabbath the 60's Mods had nowhere else to go except to expire at the feet of Tommy Roe and tune into the Hollywood Palace.
