i was in jr. high/high school in western Pa./ eastern ohio(youngstown/warren) in the late 60's early 70's.....everyone had a horn/rock band. these guys were pretty big locally.
i still have the original album!

 
I posted about these guys maybe a year or two ago. I just remembered about them, and went to youtube to liste to a few songs again.

I still say they sound quite a bit like Thin Lizzy, without being a copy :embarrassed:

both listening to and watching: Eight Days A Week, a Beatles documentary of their touring years.
i grew up listening to them and remember seeing them on the Ed Sullivan show in '64.
they really were quite spectacular as song writers and players.

We watched that last night on PBS. A great view.
