Riff at 2:37 been in my head for more than a week at least. No idea why and I couldn't remember what song it was.
 
This has got to be one of my most favorite songs of all time, seriously...I'm always transported back to mid 70's traveling somewherew in the midwest during the summer to visit the Illinois kinfolk and that was simple carefree good times with swimming in the pond and catching fireflies in the cornfield....breakfast on the road at Howard Johnsons or the Union 76 truck stop *spits*
The harmonies in this song....oh man !!11!

Surely this is irony...

That song was the poster child for “change the station dammit.” It out-havin my babied “Havin My Baby.” It was the worst thing about 1976, narrowly beating out Son of Sam and tiresome bicentennial marketing campaigns.
