You mean how he's doing at it or what he's doing after it? Seems like a so simple it's hard thing, and he's pretty dialed in. His moves are ok but he's no Link.

In the classic recorded version the bassist doesn't mirror that descending lick. In that seventies version the bassplayer plays that E minor pentatonic descending line at the same time as Link, which (to me) changes the vibe of the song. To me, it makes it more 'Blue Cheer-ish' or a kinda proto-doom vibe, rather than the really switchblade greaser feel of the original.

I like it both ways, but I do prefer the original version better.
