I was listening to Peter, Paul, and Mary a bit ago; their version of Bob Dylan's Too Much of Nothing. Their arranger aced this one.

Maybe? He was with the Cadet label at that time and played on some Rotary Connection tracks.
 
One of my favorite REM tunes & I think of it even more in times like these.
Released (in album form) less than two months before the 1987 market crash & released as a single about one month after the 1987 market crash. Gee, I've been around for a few BIG market crashes now.
I moved to Dallas, TX in early 1987, the beginning of 15 years of the reign of Pantera, and I left DFW in 2002.
ITEOTW is certainly one tune that keeps on giving, in good times & in bad times ...............




Might as well throw in a Pantera tune; RIP Dime & Vinny ............

 
My second Zoom meeting of the day...

Too many shoulda-been-email mtgs as it is, but there has been an exponential increase since telework was mandated. I've got plenty of work to do, so this just makes it harder to do w/in regularly scheduled working hours.
Everyone else's COVID-19 suffering pales in comparison...:gah:

Are your meetings video meetings? All of mine are audio only. I barely pay attention and do what I need to do during them. I sometimes take the meetings on my cell phone, or a second laptop so I can keep my work computer free to do work.

Half and half. W/ committee meetings I've been doing audio only since there are 20+ of us attending w/ only a few of us actually speaking/presenting.

In mtgs w/ the boss(es) I'm videoing and in constant active discussion. But I'm wearing t-shirts and caps even. Not getting "dressed up" for any of this stuff. Once we get back to the offices/on-campus, I'll worry about looking the part.

I do have other devices, but depending upon what's being discussed and my role, I often can't multitask despite the desire to.

You know those video cameras built into laptops are very prone to breaking :grin:
