Have you watched/listened to Sound & Fury? I was talking to one of my friends about it yesterday and he liked it okay, but was sad in that he felt 'Sturgill doesn't want to make country', and that he buried his voice in the mix.
Personally, I respect his hard left-turn, and his 'you expect [x], well you're gonna get this instead!'
Also, I like the 'signifying nothing' Shakespearean conceit.
