I mean, small poll number here, but we have a decent number of people who seem like they're voting for Hillary in this thread. How many changed their mind because of the recent email "scandal"? I don't think anyone. So who are these people that swapped positions because of that? Or did someone who previously said they weren't going to vote suddenly decide they'd had enough and just had to put a stop to that woman!

I agree with the sentiment that things can't possibly actually be changing that quickly, this close to the election. Possibly it's just that different polling methods are producing different results, looking at different cross sections of society, etc. But if you somehow could know the actual numbers, I'd be willing to bed they haven't moved more than 5% this entire election (after the two candidates were selected, that is).

One thing I've noticed is the number of people who post comments to articles on Yahoo etc seem to be weighed heavily towards Trump. Either they are bashing the article for being liberal nonsense, talking about how Hillary should be in jail and will be soon or how great DT is. I'm not sure if this is an indication of an involuntary poll or just that the Donald's supporters are more likely to make obnoxious comments on websites where they can be anonymous

As an example on an article about House Dems wanting a probe on the FBI leaks about Clinton

It should be noted that NO one denies the leaks as being false….they are REAL and they point to a very corrupt government…and a corrupt department of justice. So I would think that ANYONE who wants to do good for the common people would be looking into the corruption and NOT the whistle blowers…THIS is why Trump MUST be elected. Drain the swamp!!! That is why this lifelong DEMOCRAT will be voting TRUMP.

Nearly all of the comments that I see on the first few pages are like this. Does this mean the sentiment is actually much more positive for DT? In this thread I would say it is the opposite. But things like this make me think that this is going to be very close indeed

I'm not entirely sure I want to vote for Trump, but I can tell you that I never wanted to nor will I vote for Hilary.
Btw- the tv commercials trump is putting out are downright viscous.... he really goes for the jugular.

TREMENDOUSLY INNOCENT!!!

and Lincoln is going to visit me in my sleep and tell how proud he is of me.

My wacky uber conservative facebook friend shared this pic with a 'yup'

you know, it's not like there's a Federal law or anything that requires citizenship for Federal elections or anything like that........at least 51 people seem to recognize that on some level, maybe. edit: xenophobe all the things!

Yahoo comments sections have been a snake pit of assbaggery for close to 20 years.

"The Clinton Foundation has confirmed it accepted a $1 million gift from Qatar while Hillary Clinton was U.S. secretary of state without informing the State Department, even though she had promised to let the agency review new or significantly increased support from foreign governments. Qatari officials pledged the money in 2011 to mark the 65th birthday of Bill Clinton"
