I see your 24 million people losing coverage and raise you poor and elderly would see their premiums go up 750%. A 64 year old person with low income would spend more than half of their income on premiums. This bill sounds awesome, I'm glad they had 8 years to come up with it.

But at least insurance companies will be able to write off more of their executive salaries. from $2.5 million to $70 million. We wouldn't want those CEOs to lose their Aspen vacation homes or their yachts so someone could get cancer treatment.

Let us dispel once and for all with this fiction that this legislation took eight years of the Republican brain trust to draft. All they did was bitch, whine, hoot and holler about it for that long. Then once it was their turn with the ball they haphazardly slapped some buzzwords into a PowerPoint and tried to cram it through post haste. Like waffle-stomping a huge turd through the swamp drain, and hoo boy does it stink if you can't afford a clothespin. Finally the adults are in charge, they said...

i realize you're saying what they said, and there's some sarcasm there (or a lot)....but.....there has NEVER been an administration that was more childish and LESS adult like in the history of the country. the cheeto tweeter in chief goes off with every thing he doesn't like and acts like a spoiled 8 year old and everyone around him makes excuses (being kind there) for his behavior and lies.

I'm not saying or implying they took 8 years on it. 8 years ago they were told health care legislation was getting passed and that was when they should have started, but they didn't. So they had 8 years to work on it and they spent the last 15 minutes on it and it shows.

of course, if they had paid any attention to it in the first place, they might have had a clue.
but they slept thru class and then when it came time to take the test, they blame the teacher for "being mean".

and what really frosts my ass, is that when they find out that their ideas or words aren't going to work the way they wanted, instead of taking a step back and saying "we're going to have a look at this again" or whatever.....instead of that, they just dig in their heels and put up a fight when they KNOW they're wrong. WTF?? that's what school age bullies do.
