McConnell has a tight rope to walk. He has campaigned on repealing Obamacare, but people in Kentucky benefit more than most states from it. So if he doesn't have a good replacement, he may get replaced.

McConnell isn't afraid. Remember, Kentucky just elected a governor who's #1 campaign promise was to remove Obamacare from Kentucky. Outside of Louisville, KY will always vote God and Guns.

GOP releases bills to repeal and replace ObamaCare

This will screw a lot of people. It's bad legislation.

cut taxes on the rich? check
eliminate the mandate? check
de-fund planned parenthood? check
eliminate insurance plan requirements for coverage? check
curtail the medicade expansion? check
age based insurance tax credits? check

The combination of eliminating the mandate while ensuring that pre-existing conditions will be covered is pretty much guaranteed to create the environment where people will forgo insurance until they actually need it to cover an expensive treatment....which is exactly the thing that causes costs to skyrocket. This isn't a plan; it's a seven year knee jerk reaction

Yuppers...nothing useful or helpful to anyone other than corporations and the disgustingly rich. The party of the people they are not.

With DeVos being the head of the department of ed, it might not be a bad thing if they get rid of it. That way she can't destroy public education.
