have you forgot about this guy?

Trump is evil and calculating. Nothing ridiculous about it.

While I didn't agree with going into Iraq, its hard to say what you would do if you were the president and were attacked like we were on 9/11 and given the intel he was given. Hindsight is 20/20.

I still am glad they took out Sadam Hussain. Not a fan of everything else.

i am not. the guy was a blood thirsty torturing monster. but unfortunately, he kept the peace in the region. the minute he was gone, the insurgents stormed in and created, what we now know today, as ISIS. that would never have happened under sadam. he would have killed them all off by any means necessary, and they all knew it.

edit: we had the chance to take out sadam in the early 90's during iraq 1.0. bush sr. said "we're not going to do it. it would'nt be prudent at this juncture." he explained THEN that the removal of sadam would create a power vacuum that would draw in every terrorist within 1000 miles, and it would also encourage iran to do what ever the fuck they wanted. which is exactly what they did when dubya took out sadam. we should have found other ways to "deal" with him.

I read this morning that several GOP senators already said they won't support it. It only takes a few to flip for it to fail.
mccain and mcconnell have both said that if any americans loose their insurance because of this, they will vote against it.
so did portman and a senator from wva. so that's 4 republican votes against. that sinks it.

McConnell has a tight rope to walk. He has campaigned on repealing Obamacare, but people in Kentucky benefit more than most states from it. So if he doesn't have a good replacement, he may get replaced.

or....he votes against it and tells his people that he tried to save them.
