Yes, but THAT spending more than pays for itself due to the boosts in the economy and increased tax revenues...

the budget for FY 2016 was about 3.9 trillion.
dubya and company spent 1.7 trillion on the iraq war alone. and that's not counting payments/coverage for veterans coming back from that war.

so yea.......much more.

I do think opportunists are riding a wave. That said, Wikipedia tells me there were 315 cases of anti-semitic vandalism in 2013, so it'll be interested to see how this year compares to previous years, when ant-semitic acts were on the decline.

Maybe its because I was raised in a non-religious home, but I just don't understand Anti-semitism. I get if you hate someone who happens to be Jewish, but to hate a whole group of people, just seems silly to me. It's not like a whole group of people are exactly the same, I bet there are plenty of Jewish people out there who love the 2nd and 3rd strat positions.

Since I've known him, my father-in-law has always checked the "other" box on demographics questions instead of "white". I'm beginning to agree with him.
