I don't know about it being better...the man has no spine. He could have lead a movement to prevent Trump's ascension, but cowed. Same with McCain in the Senate. The GOP's folding on Trump's outrageous statements and policies makes them all pretty much shit at this point. Palin is literally an idiot. She's a few sandwiches short of a full deck of sharp knives.

Pelosi has intelligence, but hasn't always made good (let alone great) choices. And as with all house minority leaders, she often neutered along with the rest of her party. Not trying to defend her, but lumping anyone in with Palin (who didn't even finish one term as Governor) is likely too harsh.
