The vote was 52-47. Split right down party lines. The abstention was Sessions himself. That's much closer than I thought it would be for a Senator who is qualified for the job (regardless of his politics).

Donate to the ACLU and maybe step away from the keyboard before you have an aneurysm.

there's no phone call to make....they disconnected the lines. maybe they're back up now, don't know, but calling and complaining about a confirmation that happened three days ago is pretty much a waste of time, so yea.

The liberals lay down and take it? What are they supposed to do, walk in with a uzi and lay waste to the senate? They don't have a majority, they all voted against him (except Manchin of WV) and DeVos.

Did you see Portman's weak-ass excuse about "DeVos is the daughter of an educator" so she's qualified? When your DC and C-bus lines are disconnected because you're getting so many calls about Sessions and DeVos, it shows you're 100% beholden to the train of cash.
