From an EPA staffer:
"So I work at the EPA and yeah it's as bad as you are hearing:
The entire agency is under lockdown, the website, facebook, twitter, you name it is static and can't be updated. All reports, findings, permits and studies are frozen and not to be released. No presentations or meetings with outside groups are to be scheduled.
Any Press contacting us are to be directed to the Press Office which is also silenced and will give no response.
All grants and contracts are frozen from the contractors working on Superfund sites to grad school students working on their thesis.
We are still doing our work, writing reports, doing cancer modeling for pesticides hoping that this is temporary and we will be able to serve the public soon. But many of us are worried about an ideologically-fueled purging and if you use any federal data I advise you gather what you can now.
We have been told the website is being reworked to reflect the new administration's policy.
Feel free to copy and paste, you all pay for the government and you should know what's going on. I am posting this as a fellow citizen and not in any sort of official capacity."

been saying it for over 600 pages.

dumpster IS the smoke screen. they've changed the approach. crazy asshole up front. dangerous fascists in the background fucking every american out of their rights.

wait until the military starts getting ordered out onto the streets.

So Rand Paul finally announced a plan to replace the ACA.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/rand-paul-unveils-obamacare-replacement/ar-AAmeDyQ

"The plan would abolish many of the central elements of ObamaCare, including the mandate that everyone has coverage. It would eliminate the minimum standards for which health services an insurance plan must cover, which Republicans argue would allow for cheaper, less comprehensive plans."

Translation - Your cost will remain the same and now all the insurance covers is the lollipop in the waiting room.
Sounds about like the traditional argument against minimum wage: that requiring a minimum just keeps people from having a job when they are willing to work for less. Who cares if it is a living wage?

So, people arguably want to pay less for a less comprehensive policy. Works in theory, until you really need something. Problem is there is no bargaining power here and no real substitutes for health care when it is needed. Remember, we are also now allowing lifetime limits too. So truly, only the wealthy receive comprehensive and proper health care. Also, covering basic preventative care should reduce health care costs by handling things before they become bigger issues. So, besides the fact that the free market does not seem to work here (health insurance, and really, providing health care), there are other reasons to require some minimum standards. Much like there are minimums on auto insurance. It provides a societal benefit.

I can't imagine this is going to help FMIC's bottom line.

Figure your MIM for 899, is going to add 180 to the price.

Not sure how that will work out for any MIA builds that have rough work done in Mexico.

Maybe everything will go up accordingly? MIA up 200 to reflect the differences between them?

Makes a Titan look even better to me.

the media needs to find a way to push dumpster aside and pull back the curtain and see what's REALLY going on, that we're not seeing.
pence and company are not sitting on their hands. they have GIGANTIC agendas and they ARE pursuing them. we're just not seeing all of it.
