Many of the people who end up with no insurance are poor white people in the bible belt. They’ll believe it when Trump tells them they couldn’t afford the insurance anyway. And 5 to 10 million people doesn’t mean much in states with gerrymandered house districts.
 
I'm hoping that the giant meteor that needed to hit in 2016 simply rescheduled itself to the first quarter 2017.

on the other hand......if and it may be a BIG IF.......but if the country can manage to persevere until 2020.....there's a good chance that a republican won't get elected again for 20 years, after what these assholes are going to do.

or.....there may be a full on revolution/race war. who knows.

People said that after Dubya left office. Never underestimate the old Democratic leadership’s ability to blow it. Or the tendency of the white working class to vote against their own interest.

The people with guns are mostly far right conservatives, they’re unlikely to revolt against their own government. Likewise, we would have nationwide pogroms, not a race war. Of course, in either case they might just all head to their forest doomsday bunkers and wait for the other weekend warriors to do the fighting.
