He's a controversial guy and an outspoken Democrat. I don't know much about him, but I see enough negative press to know it's going to take some convincing of the public. And that's not a good place for the DNC to start in the next cycle.
Lol, replace democrat with republican, Cuban with Trump and RNC with DNC and....

Remember when too many people hated Trump for him to have any chance at winning?

HAHAHAHAHA.

*serious face*

The Democrats have to nominate someone from TV. Teevee is our new God.

Trump's insurance policy that no one will try to assassinate him.

Funny, I saw the same sign on my hike this morning around Old Cunt Swamp.

You know, I think there is a misconception by pro life folks about pro choice folks. It comes out in their "pro abortion" name calling. I am pro choice, but would be happy if another abortion was never performed. Only if they weren't performed because nobody wanted or needed them, not because the government told them they couldn't and that starts with access to birth control and proper sex ed.

Well said. I'm pro-adoption/pro-choice. I also think the abortion debate has zero place in political debate at this point.

neither side really gives a rats ass about abortion. It's just a knee jerk trigger topic to fire up the bases every 4 years. If someone is truly anti-abortion then they damned well better be for prenatal health care support, education, and pro family leave. Otherwise, they're just obstructionists.

Billionaires are the best people!

#newdealsaywhat?

I'm pointing out if someone is using the logic of "He's a successful business man", they're two examples of people who were able to make things work in business that most people scoffed at, not someone who took daddy's money and made some buildings and then lined his pockets by not paying the contractors and people who worked for him.

Yup. I've been saying this for years.

Fuck 'em. Not really. But really.

It's even worse than it looks.

Their old governor (Steve Beshear) built one of the best ACA marketplaces in the country: Kynect. Since Kentucky has some of the poorest counties in the country, this was a big deal - suddenly healthcare became available for many Kentuckians who could never have afforded it.

Then Kentucky voted in Matt Blevin whose main campaign promise was that he'd dismantle Kynect. When he actually dismantled Kynect (and tried to use federal ACA grant funds to do it), Kentuckians expressed shock and surprise.

Having apparently learned nothing, they voted for Trump, and now are expressing concern about losing the ACA altogether.

Who the fuck watches TV anymore? Do people still watch reality shows?

I guess it's old white deplorables and they vote far more than we thought.

The only "reality" show I ever watched was the first and maybe second Real World. I've caught a few episodes of others when I am a my parent's house, like American Idol or America's got Talent, but only a handful of episodes.
